More About Austin
I got into fitness in High School as an outlet. My mom had recently gotten sick and things were not looking to be in my favor. I quickly had to adapt to the changes life was giving me. My mom was in the hospital and my dad was at work or with my mom. Fitness was a way I could become sure of myself and gain the confidence I always felt I lacked. Being the “kid who wears knee braces and sports goggles“, due to my condition had shaken my confidence quite a bit. I started doing squats, pushups, resistance band curls, and pull-ups at home to build my foundation and soon switched to the gym. I decided it was time to compete after about 17-18 months of weightlifting and found not only a love for the stage but also the process of improvement. Since I have dedicated myself to becoming a part of many others’ fitness journeys.
